CHAMBER ANNUAL MEETING

On Thursday, November 6, 2014 the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce will hold it's Annual Meeting. Barbie Lange - Chamber President/CEO, and current board members will conduct the meeting and speak about Chamber business, past accomplishments and the plan/vision for the future of the Chamber.

Divisional highlights from the Ashland Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Ashland Area Safety Council and Leadership Ashland  will be provided in the event program along with information on all those businesses who have contributed to the Chamber through sponsorships.

One highlight of the Luncheon will be two "Spirit of the Chamber" awards (Individual & Business) given for recognition of exemplary dedication and service.  The recipients will have demonstrated leadership in volunteerism, energy, creativity and giving.  Additionally, they will have assisted the Chamber in keeping strong our traditions, while at the same time taking risks to make a difference in the community.

The Chamber will also be handing out its First Annual "Jim Lingenfelter Service Award" to an individual who emulate the characteristics of Jim Lingenfelter and continue to follow in his footsteps to make Ashland County a better place live, work, and raise a family. Jim was a perfect example of servant leadership. His passion, dedication, and positive attitude spanned the entire county as he worked to make connections and bring organizations together for the good of the Ashland Area.
